The Advanced Mixology Bartending Institute teaches individuals the many intricacies of pleasantly serving customers alcohol from behind a bar. This includes classes in such topics as drinks mixology, the intricacies of mixing drinks and drink presentation, and the alcohol laws of the city and state in which our school is located.
It is not required to have a license to bartend. It is required that each bartender pass an Alcohol Certification course for their particular state, which is typically part of the curriculum of a bartending school.
There are many bartending schools in every state. Some offer only a few hours of instruction, others offer up to 40 hours. Industry leading experts suggest that a course should be from 12 – 40 hours in length to cover all the required material thoroughly. Only courses that are at least 12 hours in length are certified by a state’s board of education or board of vocational or postsecondary education.

Advanced Mixology Institute offers a 12 hour course and a 6 hour course that covers over 40 hours of course materials taught at an accelerated pace. Because life events happens we created a realistic approach in teaching to maximize core information through our course materials and practical hands on training, minimizing time to complete course to become gainfully employed faster. Students that successfully finish the course, receive a Certificate of Completion.
Each semester our class availability changes slightly but we try to keep things flexible because we know how crazy life can be for everyone. Our current availability when you register online may be slightly different because of each classes size and fullness will affect the classes online availability. if there is any openings, we recommend booking ASAP because your spot can only be reserved with payment.
